WEBCAST | Update on Access Cases in Minnesota

This CLE will provide an overview of 2017 inverse condemnation access cases in Minnesota, with particular emphasis on the recent Court of Appeals decisions in Yarmon v. MnDOT, Cannon Oil v. MnDOT and Faegre Baker Daniels v. MnDOT.  The presenter represented the landowners in all three of these inverse condemnation cases.  The discussion of these cases will involve a description of the primary legal theories argued in each case, along with a discussion of supporting common law and statutory authorities.  Additionally the presentation will explain why the Court of Appeals rejected the arguments in each of the cases, along with the presenter’s opinion of those Court of Appeals decisions.
