Legal Ethics (Morning Session)

The HCBA's Law & Literature CLE seminars provide a unique way to earn your ethics and elimination of bias CLE credits. Led by experienced facilitators, these popular CLE programs use short articles and works of fiction as a springboard for active discussions on legal ethics and bias. Stories will be sent to you once you register and must be read in advance.  

Choose the morning program for the Ethics discussion, the afternoon session for Elimination of Bias, or sign up for a whole day and save on registration. Space is limited. No walk-in registrations accepted.

Stories include:

  • Morning Session: Enemy of the People by Henrik Isben / Arthur Miller; Dean of Men by Peter Taylor 

3.0 Ethics MBCLE credits applied for

FacilitatorsRetired Judge Timothy Baland, Literature for Lifetime Learning; and Judge Laurie Miller,Hennepin County District Court 

Cost: $105.00 for HCBA members / $135.00 for non-members

*Speakers and credits may be subject to change.
*Cancellations must be received 7 days prior to the event in order to be eligible for a refund. The cost of materials will be deducted from total amount of the refund. Those registering for an event fewer than 7 days prior to the event will be ineligible for a refund.
