We Are All Criminals

One in four people in the US has a criminal record; four in four have a criminal history. We Are All Criminals, a Minnesota-based project and nonprofit, is a catalyst for conversations about crime, privilege, punishment, and second chances. Through stories, statutes, and statistics, we’ll examine the disparate impact of the criminal and juvenile justice systems on people of color and poor people across the country. Following Emily Baxter's examination of the project, Professor Perry Moriearty will discuss its specific applicability to Minnesota’s criminal and juvenile justice systems.
