Practical Tools to Overcome our Unconscious Bias while Serving Clients

As attorneys and service providers, we are the gatekeepers to many justice services. It is essential that we are aware of our biases and have tools to keep them from coming between us and our clients. Experts will provide us with everyday tools developed by racially conscious leaders that can be used to interrupt common biases.

To get the most out of this event, we strongly encourage attendees to take at least one of the short Harvard Implicit Bias Tests online. Click here to take the tests.

Judge Bruce Peterson will moderate a roundtable discussion with expert panelists: Jazmin Danielson, who has twenty years of experience in service programs with a focus on Diversity and Inclusion; David Hunt, a sought after national speaker and advisor on racial and ethnic disparities; and Shawn Sorrell, Diversity and Inclusion Consultant for Hennepin County Department of Human Resources.
